A spectacular New York Times and Washington Post bestseller, My FBI is the definitive account of American law enforcement during the Clinton years and in the run-up to September 11. Louis Freeh is clear eyed, frank, the ultimate realist, and he offers resolute vision for the struggles ahead. Bill Clinton called Freeh a "law enforcement legend" when he nominated him as the Federal Bureau of Investigation Director. The good feelings would not last. Going toe-to-toe with his boss during the scandal-plagued ‘90s, Freeh fought hard to defend his agency from political interference and to protect America from the growing threat of international terrorism. When Clinton later called that appointment the worst one he had made as president, Freeh considered it "a badge of honor." This is Freeh's entire story, from his Catholic upbringing in New Jersey to law school, the FBI training academy, his career as a US District attorney and as a federal judge, and finally his eight years as the nation's top cop. This is the definitive account of American law enforcement in the run-up to September 11. Freeh is clear-eyed, frank, the ultimate realist, and he offers resolute vision for the struggles ahead. "[Freeh] comes off as the real deal, an honorable, hard-working man, a devoted public servant and father, a gifted lawyer and onetime federal prosecutor."---The New York Times

In a house teeming with life, young Maura, voted the Most Quiet Girl in Catholic school, notices everything but says little. Eager to penetrate the secret world of her father, FBI agent Joe Conlon, she is drawn to the bureau drawer where he places his badge at night. The time is the late 1960s, and Vietnam and the Cold War are fomenting unrest outside Maura’s suburban Los Angeles home. Inside, the Conlons and their five children are still bound by tradition: baseball games, Sunday dinners of roast beef and mashed potatoes, and The FBI on TV. Under the watchful gaze of J. Edgar Hoover’s picture, Maura’s mother, a former New York bathing beauty, remains a housemaker even as she slips out for assertiveness training. And there’s the one unshakable rule of all: Joe Conlon never talks about his job. In fact, he rarely speaks at all. Believing that he communicates in code, Maura is determined to crack it. She uses clues gleaned from Nancy Drew mysteries, eavesdrops on adult conversations, and spins larger-than-life fantasies in her head, with her younger brother, Joey, who has Down syndrome, at her side. But her flights of fancy turn sober with a murder in the family. Suddenly her father’s silence speaks volumes, and she learns a lesson from him abut fierce love during a time of devastating loss. Bathed in luminous nostalgia, resonating with hilarious and painful memories, FBI GIRL is the coming-of-age story of a highly imaginative girl and a passionate homage to family bonds, the trials that test them, and the triumphs that make them stronger.

“There would be another house to make a home, a relationship to repair and a heart to make happy with a new determination” Sandy, a 1960’s FBI wife, finds herself in territory for which there seems to be no roadmap, yet she knows she is somewhere important, an observer and a participant in an unfolding scene which is impacting her as she moves from assignment to assignment across country under Hoover’s rigid FBI expectations. Caught in this world, juxtaposed against the social explosions of the time, Sandy takes the reader on an emotional journey across country, through the trauma of the Kennedy assassination, Martin Luther King’s Selma march and.the war on organized crime, knowing all the while she is giving up more and more of herself. They are a couple marching out of step, searching for a connection. Sandy aspires for a partnership based on trust and shared aspirations; Cliff is seduced by the danger of working high profile criminal cases. She must find that person lurking within, separate from her identity as an FBI wife. “My river’s life echoed my own as I searched, manipulated, pressed on, gave up to finally reach a place I hadn’t been before.” Sandra Windsor’s FBI Wife beautifully explores what it’s like to live next to big moments in history, to hold home and family together as your partner engages in the headline events of your time. For decades, movies and television shows have portrayed FBI agents as fearless heroes leading glamorous lives, but this refreshingly original memoir strips away the fantasy and glamour and describes the day-to-day job of an FBI special agent. The book gives a firsthand account of a career in the Federal Bureau of Investigation from the academy to retirement, with exciting and engaging anecdotes about SWAT teams, counterterrorism activities, and undercover assignments. At the same time, it challenges the stereotype of FBI agents as arrogant, case-stealing, suit-wearing stiffs with representations of real people who carry badges and guns. With honest, self-deprecating humor, Steve Moore's narrative details his successes and his mistakes, the trauma the job inflicted on his marriage, his triumph over the aggressive cancer that took him out of the field for a year, and his return to the Bureau with renewed vigor and dedication to take on some of the most thrilling assignments of his career. Steve Moore is a former agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation who had assignments as a SWAT team operator, sniper, pilot, counterterrorist, and undercover agent. He received multiple awards from the Department of Justice before his retirement in 2008, has written two episodes for an FBI-themed TV series, and is a regular commentator for Headline News. He lives in Thousand Oaks, California.

This story is about all mysterious adventures and numerous encounters with FBI. The flashbacks became more terrifying and the nightmares came more realistic. The story will become more confusing with all the bizarre endings. There were events which took a diametrically opposite of action. The FBI is a powerful police department and they answer to no one. The FBI had no other choice; they had to stop me from solving the Zodiac case. All the people that were helping me with my book had all disappeared. There is a reason why all these people had vanished? The mystery will never be solved. The FBI "secret files" are hiding that information. The FBI is vicious; they have neither pity nor compassion. That becomes a dangerous situation for everyone involved. This story talks about Donna Lass, (that is the grave on the front cover of the book) who was killed in Lake Tahoe by the Zodiac killer. Donna Lass's body was never found. She was the Zodiac's last victim. Unfortunately, I was involved, and did not know what to do. This story is very unique. The FBI is hiding Bruce Davis, (Charles Mason's hit man) and no one can talk to him. What does that tell you? As former Chief of Police from the San Francisco area, I have come to know that the Zodiac killer is the most famous serial killer case in the United States. I had to write this story; the public must know the truth. The FBI is concealing evidence. They know the person that was involved with the Zodiac killer. His name is Bruce Davis. It took me ten years, for me to locate a picture of Wayne Messier. A cold chill consumed my body from head to toe. When I saw that picture, I thought that I would never live to see a photograph of the Zodiac killer.
