Demgegenüber stellen die theoretischen Untersuchungen in der Bodenmechanik nur Arbeits hypothesen dar, weil unsere Kenntnisse über die mittleren physikalischen Eigenschaften des Untergrundes und über den Verlauf der einzelnen Schichtgrenzen stets unvollkommen und sogar oft äußerst unzuläng lich sind.
