Der Titel des Werkes Tilted Arc ist somit ein textueller Verweis auf die Form des Objektes. Der materialisierte Zeichenträger ist wiederum eine freistehende Plastik aus korrodiertem Stahl und in einen platzeinnehmenden städtebaulichen Kontext eingelassen. Hervorzuheben ist, dass das haptische Element der rauen und durch Rost zersetzten Eisenoberfläche in Beziehung zum optischen Moment der Monumentalität gesetzt wird. Die Visualisierung des Werktitels ist sogar dermaßen raumgreifend, dass der Raum, der zur Rezeption des Gegenstandes nötig ist, durch das umliegende architektonische Gefüge nicht nur determiniert wird, sondern über diesen in einer raumzeitlichen Konzeption der Betrachtung hinaus reicht. Die Wahrnehmung des Objektes zusammen mit dem Objektraum entsteht in diesem Fall nicht nur durch die kontinuierliche Bewegung des Betrachters in und um den Raum herum, sondern durch dynamisch anmutende Verzahnungen einzelner Objekt- und Architektursegmente, die auf einen Wechsel der perspektivischen Ansichten der jeweiligen wahrnehmbaren Raumeinheiten angelegt sind.
